Biography
Ricardo de Aguayo, is an accomplished photographer, graphic designer and film
and television producer.
He has worked on commercial films, documentaries,
photography and graphic design for advertising agencies,
television stations,
newspapers and magazines in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and USA.
In his native Argentina, Ricardo worked as Director of Cinematography Department
for Channel 10 of Cordoba;
and produced documentaries, photographs and
audiovisuals for Cordoba’s Secretary of Tourism.
Ricardo was a
Cameraman/National Correspondent for Noticiero 13 and Telenoche. In addition,
Ricardo filmed and photographed aero-navigation and acrobatic flights for
Argentina’s Air Force.
For his work on “Barrio Clínicas Story”, he received the
prestigious Martin Fierro Award for Best Documentary.
His
work also took him to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he produced Photomurals, Designs
for Catalogues and Artists Promotional Films and Exhibitions.
In Venezuela,
Ricardo, held important posts as Audiovisual Director for Romy films, and
produced cultural, historic
and tourism photography and audiovisuals for the
National Council of Culture and Children Foundation.
At Simon Bolivar
University, Ricardo reactivated and coordinated the Photography Department for
the Audiovisual Unit.
In the US, Ricardo
continued to expand practice and dedication to production, photography and
graphic design
for Videophone Corp, American Red Cross, Dynamic Cablevision and
“K” Magazine. Most importantly, he has work
for prominent communications
companies as Discovery Networks Latin America/Iberia, Univision, Telemundo
Network
and CBS Records International. In Discovery Networks Latin
America/Iberia he worked for the last six years in
Program Customization and
Production Operations. In Program Customization he was responsible for
reviewing
the editorial quality control of the dubbing and graphic customization
of programming into Spanish.
As Unit Manager for Production Operations he
worked with original productions. For Univision, Ricardo worked
in the Promotions department as copywriter; and as Graphic Designer, Computer Graphic
and Shows Presentation
for Telemundo Network.
His work has been featured in individual and
collective Photography & Paintings Exhibitions. Ricardo’s extensive
experience and talent is complemented with great passion towards his work, art
and love of people. He speaks Spanish, English and conversational Portuguese.
